I served as an Instructor for the Laborers Training School. I later transitioned into the role as an apprenticeship coordinator. I am now the Senior Coordinator and responsible in overseeing 9 apprenticeship coordinators covering the 12 Southern California Counties to ensure compliance is being met.
My main functions are to serve as a liaison between the school and local union, mentor and schedule apprentices to complete program in order to graduate. The key is to continue building relationships with contractors as well as community-based programs in recruitment and outreach.
